Omg I can’t believe we’re already at this point in the year and Christmas is next week! 2024 has gone by in a blink of an eye and I can’t wrap my mind around it lol. But that’s a tangent… 😆

Just wanted to remind y’all that I’ll be out of the salon for the holiday from 12/22 until 12/27, and then out again from 12/29 until 1/2.

During that time I’ll be periodically checking/responding to client messages, but I’ll be slower to respond than usual. My online booking will be available 24/7 as always! (Link in bio!)🎄

Cozy season is officially here, so here’s a quick guide of what to wear (and what to avoid!) for your fall/winter salon visits! 🍂

-I love all animals, even the weird ones lol. When I was seven or eight we discovered a mom possum with three babies living in our garage, and I was DEVASTATED to learn that we were not in fact keeping them as pets 😆

Would you believe that prior to this balayage, Jessica had several inches of her natural color at her roots with a solid line of demarcation from previous all-over bleach blonde??

With a goal of eventually growing her blonde out and going back to her natural color, over the course of two sessions we focused on blending her blonde into her natural color at her roots to give her a softer, natural looking color for her grow out journey! I’m obsessed with the results! ✨

Omg y’all, this is the first time I’ve posted a hair photo in almost two months 🤦‍♀️😆 Whoops! Summer was BUSY both in and out of the salon so Instagram has sort of been on the back burner - I’ve made a goal to start posting more regularly again though so hopefully I will be sticking to that, lol!

Two quick booking reminders before my vacation starts!

First- my August schedule is almost totally full, and September is also filling up really quickly! I’ll post specific availability for August and September on my story later today or early tomorrow for those of you looking for a spot before the end of summer. Second- I will be able to periodically check client messages/booking requests while I’m out of the salon, but my response time will be much slower than normal. But, my online booking is available 24/7!

I was chatting with a client recently about why I love doing dimensional colors like highlights and balayage so much - there’s quite a few reasons! From my perspective, I really enjoy the detail-oriented process, and the results are so satisfying! 😍

I also love how livable colors like these are for clients! With how busy our lives are these days it’s so great to do a color that I know will grow out flawlessly between appointments so that my clients don’t feel like they’re desperate for a touch up after just a few weeks. It’s a win-win! ✨

If you hate how a popular product makes your hair feel even though you’re sure you followed the usage instructions to a T, that’s ok! If you can’t figure out how to get no-heat curlers to make your hair look good even though your bestie swears by them, that’s ok! (Just a couple examples, I could go on and on!)

You’re probably not doing anything wrong, those techniques or products just may not be the best fit for your hair. The key is learning what works for you to keep your hair happy and healthy, and embracing it!
